I believe that drummers around the world naturally find similar solutions to technical needs, and this variety of perspectives is what
makes music beautiful and broad. Ringo Star has already used movements similar to those, now called Slide, but this does not make it impossible to utilize and develop this technique for Brazilian rhythms, which have the sixteenth notes as their driving force.
I simply reaffirm that music is considered poetically a universal language, but with its accents and idiosyncrasies.
 
The act of reproducing rhythmic linear phrases is not common sense in the musical world, at least not where I live. But I believe that, if treate musically and ergonomically, and if we want to think a bit outside the established standards, this approach can fill some performance gaps and offer technical tools and yes, humbly thinking, create a wide array of new phrases and musical possibilities.
